Now, ITC hotels partnering with Swiggy -a food delivery giant to offer responsible dining experiences to the customers in front of their homes.
ITC Hotels Partnering with Swiggy
They have partnered to enable ‘no contact deliveries’ from its hotels.ITC said this responsive measure will bring back the taste of its original flavors. Swiggy will deliver no contact deliveries on all the pre-paid orders. which involves a delivery partner who leaves the food at the doorstep than in-person exchange.
Anil Chada, COO of ITC hotels said “In keeping with the current requirements, special training programs are conducted and precautions for personal, social, and workplaces are being explained to all associates for awareness and practice”.
ITC hotels have implemented stringent measures and protocols
Along with necessary stringent measures and protocols, Mandatory temperature checks have been implemented for all chefs and food & beverage associates. In a special takeout counter has been enhanced with hand sanitizers and thermometers to support the health parameters of local health partners.
Crafted with care at ITC Hotels and handled with utmost hygiene to ensure wellbeing, ITC said the mindfully curated menus will bring unique food experiences with local offerings from the region for diners across all major cities in India.
ITC will start home delivery from across several properties including ITC Maurya (New Delhi), ITC Royal Bengal (Kolkata), ITC Grand Chola (Chennai), ITC Gardenia (Bengaluru), ITC Windsor (Bengaluru), ITC Kohenur (Hyderabad), ITC Rajputana (Jaipur), ITC Grand Goa (Goa) and Welcomhotel in Bengaluru.

According to a LocalCircles survey of more than 24,000 responses,
- About 87 percent of the respondents: -Did not want to visit a restaurant in the next 30 days, due to the fear of catching the virus.
- About 61 percent:- Reluctant to spend on eating out.
- About 25 percent of citizens:-Will order restaurant food once or more via food delivery apps in the next 30 days.
