The IT giant Cognizant has entered into a new agreement to acquire New Signature. New Signature is one of the world’s largest independent Microsoft public cloud transformation specialists.
The transaction is likely to close in the third quarter of 2020, subject to regulatory clearance and other closing conditions.

The acquisition of New Signature expands CTS’s hyper-scale cloud advisory services, and will provide the foundation for a new, dedicated group within CTS centered on Microsoft cloud solutions. New Signature is an award-winning Microsoft Partner.

Upon the close of the acquisition, New Signature’s more than 500 cloud experts, based primarily in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, will join CTS’s newly-formed Microsoft Business Group.
New signature will be the fifth cloud-related acquisition of CTS in 2020. Judson Althoff, Executive Vice President of Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial stated that the New Signature acquisition will enhance Cognizant’s ability to partner with customers across industries and geographies on their cloud strategy and business transformation.
